This system is
designed to give an indication as to the quality of sealing on
taped seams
After clamping on
the test bed, water is pumped under pressure from beneath to the
required measure - the standard test is 200cm hydrostatic head
(3 PSI for 2 minutes).
Water is pumped
through a hole in the centre of the test bed - there is a
rubber/silicon seal to ensure satisfactory clamping and prevent
damage to the fabric. The digital countdown timer allows for
consistent and accurate testing.
